Created from a vintage movement, its curated elegance reflects Gilles Robert’s early experience in gemmology and fine jewellery, where he learned to listen to precious stones, read their reflections and understand the secret equilibrium of jewellery construction. Fitted with an exclusive Robert movement from the 1960-1970s which has been fully restored by hand, La Dentelle embodies the Art Deco mood, where dramatic lines meet the gleam of gold and the purity of diamond.

Yet its full force is contained in its strap. A feminine cuff woven with jewelled motifs, it suggests the lightness of lace but none of its fragility. Entirely hand-crafted, it unites the watchmaker’s skill with the jeweller’s expertise in a tapestry of gold and precision. Six 18k gold bands set with 30 diamonds are threaded through this hand-stitched vegan “lace” in a palette of shades, like so many expressions of beauty.
